Changelog
- Sign up with just a username and password. Add an email if you want to be able to reset it.
- New avatars with arms and legs that walk, wave and dance in games. Pick your skin, face, hair or hat, shirt and pants.
- Round-based games wait in a lobby between games: the host picks the settings and starts. Public servers also start on a countdown.
- On phones the game stays visible above the keyboard while you type.
- Delete your account any time in Settings.
- Tap the eye in a password field to see what you typed.
- Playing as a guest? Change your name any time from the game menu. Everyone sees it right away.
- Visits count once a game has really been played, so reloading a page or scripts can’t pump them up.
- Start a private server for you and your friends with the Private server button on a game’s page.
- Importing a repo checks that it will run on onceworlds (an index.html or a build, file sizes, no server of its own) and says what to fix.
- Game pages: badges fold away, and the stats sit under the description.
- Server lists on game pages show how many people are playing, not who.
- Direct and group chat messages stay between the people in them.
- Make games: a guide to building and publishing games on onceworlds.
- Play on phones and tablets: tap Play for fullscreen, games turn the screen the right way, and an on-screen thumbstick and buttons.
- Add onceworlds to your Home Screen to play full screen on iPhone.
- Pick a name before you play with others as a guest.
- Hosts of private servers can remove players; public servers vote.
- A cleaner in-game menu, with chat closed by default on phones.
- Five new games: Kart Rush, Blob Arena, Flag Wars, Doodle Guess and Hangout Plaza.
- Profiles, friends and avatars. See where your friends are playing and join them.
- Sign up with email, and a new look for the whole site.
- Discover: browse by genre, sort by trending, top rated, most played or new.
- Like, dislike and favorite games.
- Invite friends into your server with one tap.
- Chat: message one player with @name, or start a group with #name.
- onceworlds opens: play browser games together, with public and private servers, saves, badges and leaderboards.
- Creators publish games from GitHub: every push updates the game.
