Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Onceworlds (onceworlds.com and onceworldsusercontent.com). By using Onceworlds you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Onceworlds
You must meet the minimum age for online services where you live. You're responsible for your account and everything done with it.
2. Playing games
Games are made by independent creators, not by Onceworlds. We don't review every game before it's published. Play at your own discretion and report anything that breaks these rules.
3. Publishing games
- You keep ownership of what you publish. You give Onceworlds a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, run, copy, display and distribute your game, its media and its store page on Onceworlds for as long as it's published there.
- You must have the rights to everything you publish, including code, art, music and trademarks.
- You're responsible for your game, including what it does, the data it handles and its use of third-party services. When your game uses your API keys through Onceworlds, you're responsible for that usage and its cost. Any player of your game can trigger those calls within the limits shown in your dashboard.
4. Rules
Don't publish, upload or do anything on Onceworlds that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors. We report it to the authorities;
- is sexually explicit, or shows graphic violence, gore or self-harm;
- harasses, threatens or promotes hate against people;
- phishes for passwords or personal data, or pretends to be Onceworlds, GitHub or anyone else;
- contains malware, mines cryptocurrency, or tries to harm players' devices or accounts;
- collects players' personal data without their clear consent;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property;
- spams, or tries to get around our limits, security or the isolation between games;
- uses Onceworlds to host or distribute files that aren't part of a game.
5. Enforcement
We may remove games or content, limit features, or suspend accounts at any time, especially to protect players. We may not be able to tell you in advance.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe a game infringes your copyright, email support@onceworlds.com with: the work you believe is infringed, the game's link, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorized to act for them, and your signature. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
7. The service
Onceworlds is free and provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Limits on storage, requests and API calls apply and can change. We may change or stop any part of the service.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Onceworlds isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to US$50.
9. Ending
You can stop using Onceworlds at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end your access if you break these terms.
10. Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date above. If you keep using Onceworlds after a change, the new terms apply.
